Mediocre lunch is… Mediocre.
Jesus! That is NOT okay, I don’t understand why you would be called a terrorist. Try to keep your head up and focus on what you need to be doing (which I’m sure can be tough). Don’t let that bullshit get to you ESPECIALLY if it’s coming from a bunch of drunk assholes, you’re better than that. :}
- In fourteen days, I’ve met SEVEN idiots who’ve expressed prejudices against me (personally) for being American.
- In four days, I’ve been called a terrorist TWICE.
- In three days, I’ve cried THREE times.
I’ve had enough.
Thanks girl. You’re right. It’s just been a rough couple of weeks, adjusting and all.
I’ve had enough.
I have no tolerance for disrespect, and tonight my entire country was disrespected by three drunk idiots in a sandwich line outside the student union. I defended the people I was with and my country in the most vigorous way I could, but I don’t think any of them heard me. One friend told me it’s impossible to reason with drunks and to just give up, but I got so upset that I couldn’t. I couldn’t let it go. I honestly believe that I’m this intolerant of ignorance and disrespect because of my upbringing and the country I was raised in. Period. Between tonight, last night and last Friday’s communism class, I am ready to come back home to America, where garbage like this SIMPLY WOULD NOT FLY.
